Multimedia Projects

Huge waves of the public sector are on strike, prices are drastically rising and the standard of living is falling. The UK is in the grips of a financial crisis.

This multimedia project explores the UK's cost of living crisis and the subsequent public-sector strikes. Comparing the current situation to the winter of discontent in the seventies, the project looks at how people have been affected by rising prices and why many workers are feeling the need to walk out in protest.

For decades there has been an assumption that young people have stopped caring about politics; youth voter turnout is historically low and has continued to fall.

 

Although voting figures are low, who are the young people taking a role in politics? And how can younger generations be inspired to get involved? Could they be the country’s future leaders?

A promotional style Instagram 'zine' on Cardiff's Bay area. Bringing together words, images, maps and graphics in an Instagram collage. With each post highlighting a different point of interest in the area.
